Join us for an engaging round-table discussion with esteemed colleagues from the bench as well as the public and private, defense and prosecution bars. Issues to be addressed include:
- Strategies for criminal cases when the defendant is in ICE custody,
- How to produce the client in state court from ICE custody,
- When will ICE deport before proceedings are complete,
- When will ICE return to state custody rather than deport,
- Relevant immigration law issues, and
- Changes to the law and pending changes under the Trump administration, among other topics.
This 3.4 credit program will begin promptly at 5:30pm and pizza and soft drinks will be served.
This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 3.4 hours of total CLE credits. Of these, 3.4 credits may be applied for certified criminal trial attorneys. By virtue of reciprocity, this program may also be applied for 3.4 NY CLE Credits. PA credits pending.
