The recent outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is a public health crisis of unprecedented impact and reach.  The health impact is being closely monitored by health organizations and governments worldwide and we strongly encourage you and those around you to observe the ubiquitous safety measures and guidelines published by the U.S. Government's Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the New Jersey State Department of Health. The Essex County Bar Association's highest priority is the well-being of our members, their families, colleagues and all those who make up this dynamic legal community.  We hope you all remain healthy during this time.

This pandemic daily redefines “business as usual.”  The Essex County Bar Association continues to monitor directives from the State and Federal courts and governments which impact our members and the practice of law.  Although our office is closed, the ECBA is open and working remotely. Our staff is ready and available to continue to service our members. Please feel free to contact staff by email or phone, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
